The following recipes relate to pre-mixes sold by Cake Decorating Australia.

 

“Happy Baking”

ALPINE WHITE MUD CAKE

INGREDIENT AMOUNT METHOD
Eggs 300g (approx 6)

Combine eggs, water & Alpine Mud Cake, mix on Low speed till combined, Increases speed to medium & mix for a further 2 mins.
Combine chocolate and oil and melt in the microwave, once melted add to prepared batter, mix on medium speed for 1min than return to low speed for a further 2 mins.
Pour into lined cake tin & bake @ 160*C for approx -/+2.5hrs

White Chocolate 300g
Vegetable Oil 200g
CONTENTS: SUGAR, WHEAT FLOUR, VEGETABLE FAT {VEGETABLE OIL, EMULSIFIERS (322 SOY, 471, 477), ANTIOXIDANT (320)}, MILK SOLIDS, MODIFIED MAIZE STARCH (1422), RAISING AGENTS (500, 541), SALT, FLAVOURS (CONTAINS MILK AND EGG), EMULSIFIERS (481), VEGETABLE GUM (415), VEGETABLE OIL {ANTIOXIDANT (307)}, FOOD ACID (330). MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS, LACTOSE & GLUTEN.

NOTE: Alpine White Mud Cake is able to be flavoured using the flavouring pastes available on this website. e.g.; caramel, chocolate, raspberry, banana, butterscotch, strawberry, etc.


 

MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE

INGREDIENT AMOUNT METHOD
Dark Chocolate 150g

Combine chocolate and oil and melt in the microwave, set aside. Place water & Mud Cake mix into mixing Bowl, pour over pre-melted chocolate and oil, mix on medium speed for 4mins. Pour into lined cake tin & bake @ 160*C for approx -/+2.5hrs

Mississippi Mud Cake Mix 1kg
Water 440g
CONTENTS: SUGAR, WHEATEN FLOUR, VEGETABLE OIL, COCOA POWDER (6%), THICKENER (1422), DRIED EGG POWDER, BAKING POWDER {MINERAL SALTS (500, 541, 341)}, SALT. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS, LACTOSE & GLUTEN

 

BANANA CAKE MIX

INGREDIENT AMOUNT METHOD
Eggs 200g (approx 4)

Combine all ingredients into a mixing
Bowl, blend on low speed till combined.
Mix on medium speed for 2mins.
Pour into lined cake tin & bake @ 170*C for approx -/+1.5hrS

Butter Cake Mix 1kg
CONTENTS: WHEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, DRIED BANANA (14%) {BANANA, SUGAR, DEXTROSE, VEGETABLE GUM (440), PRESERVATIVE (223)}, VEGETABLE FAT {VEGETABLE OIL, EMULSIFIERS (322 SOY, 471, 477), ANTIOXIDANT (320)}, MALTODEXTRIN, MODIFIED MAIZE STARCH (1422), MINERAL SALTS (170, 500, 541), SALT, WHEAT STARCH, FLAVOUR, SPICE, PRESERVATIVE (202) COLOUR (150c). MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS, LACTOSE & GLUTEN

 

FRUIT CAKE BASE MIX

INGREDIENT AMOUNT METHOD
Sultanas 850g

Wash fruit in warm water & soak in
Rum for a min of 4 to 6hrs
(overnight preferred).

Combine eggs, water & Fruit Cake
Base, mix on Low speed till combined,
Increases speed to medium & mix for a further 3mins. Add pre-soaked fruit and continue mixing by hand till combined.
Pour into lined cake tin & bake @ 160*C for approx -/+2.5hrs

Fruit Cake Base Mix 1kg
CONTENTS: WHEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, VEGETABLE FAT {VEGETABLE OIL, EMULSIFIERS (322 SOY, 471, 477), ANTIOXIDANT (320)}, MODIFIED MAIZE STARCH (1422), MINERAL SALTS (170, 450, 452, 500, 541), MILK SOLIDS, COLOUR (150c), WHEAT STARCH, SPICES, FLAVOURS, SALT, PRESERVATIVE (202), VEGETABLE GUMS (412, 415), FOOD ACID (330). MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS, LACTOSE & GLUTEN

 

BUTTER CAKE MIX

INGREDIENT AMOUNT METHOD
Eggs 250g (approx 5)

Combine all ingredients into a mixing
Bowl, blend on low speed till combined.
Mix on medium speed for 10mins.
Pour into lined cake tin & bake @ 180*C for approx -/+1hr

CONTENTS: WHEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, VEGETABLE FAT {VEGETABLE OIL, EMULSIFIERS (471,477), ANTI-OXIDANT(320)}, MILK SOLIDS, VEGETABLE OIL {ANTI-OXIDANT (307)}, MINERAL SALTS (341,450,500), WHIPPING AGENT {EMULSIFIERS (472b, 477) GLUCOSE, SOY FLOUR, MINERAL SALT (339)}, MODIFIED MAIZE STARCH (1422), DEXTROSE, FOOD ACID (327), SALT, EMULSIFIER (481), FLAVOUR, VEGETABLE GUM (415), COLOURS (100, 160a). MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS, LACTOSE & GLUTEN.
